On a Downtown or Century City floor, every square foot costs money. Full jugs, plus the empties waiting for the next pickup, sit in space you pay rent on.

A full jug weighs about 40 pounds, and somebody has to swap it. In a studio, a clinic or a law office that somebody is usually whoever stands closest, and it isn't what they were hired to do.

A jug sits on a loading dock, rides across town in a van, then waits in a hallway. Several people have handled it before anyone pours a cup. Water from a sealed line on your own pipe skips every one of those hands.

When the jugs run out before the next delivery, people drink less or send someone for plastic bottles. A dispenser on your own water line has nothing to run out of, and there's no delivery day to plan around.

The dispenser connects to the water line you already have. Nothing to order, carry or store, and no delivery window to wait for, even in a tower where the loading dock keeps its own schedule.
Countertop units fit a studio kitchenette or a small practice. Freestanding towers suit a lobby or a dealership lounge. Where the team goes through ice all day, there are ice models.
Hot for tea, cold on demand, sparkling from the Jetstream (our only sparkling model), and 44 lb of ice a day from the Glacier. Mix and match by location.
Installation, scheduled service and repairs are in your plan. If a unit breaks down, we come and fix it. Filters are the one thing billed on top, about once a year.
Our technicians do the site check, the install and the setup, so your office manager doesn't have to. Based in Van Nuys, we install across Los Angeles.
Tell us your headcount, where people gather and where the nearest water line is. We suggest a machine for each spot and put the plan in writing.
Free consultationOur technicians connect the dispenser to your existing water line, and installation is free. No jugs, no construction, and the floor keeps running while we work.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) blends several sources and splits the city into five water quality service areas. The San Fernando Valley, the Westside and Central LA get Los Angeles Aqueduct water in their mix. Eastern LA and the Harbor are served from Metropolitan Water District supplies. That is why taste and mineral content change from one part of the city to the next.
Scale: USGS hardness classes in grains per gallon. Markers: LADWP's 2025 averages for its own Aqueduct plant and for the MWD plants it buys from.
No substance was detected above its maximum contaminant level in 2025.
LADWP tests the water for more than 200 substances; the report's tables list the ones it detected.
Chloramines keep water safe on its way through the pipes; some people can taste them.
The Valley, the Westside, Central, Eastern and Harbor areas, each with its own list of sources in the report.
An Aqualume dispenser taps your existing line and filters the water in seven stages before it reaches the cup, so a Downtown office and a Valley office get the same seven stages. There are no 40-pound jugs to lift and no delivery schedule to manage. One caveat: Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena and Santa Monica run their own water utilities and publish their own reports, so check theirs if your office is there.

A law firm downtown and a studio in Hollywood want the same thing from the water: cold, clean, and no stack of jugs in the corner. We plan around your floor plan and headcount. No water line near the spot you want? Tell us up front, because every machine needs one.
Say a Jetstream on the kitchenette counter, a Cascade in the lobby and a Glacier on the sales floor where the ice runs out first. Different machines, one plan.
The water comes off a sealed connection to your line and goes through 7-stage filtration. No open jugs changing hands, no warm bottles off a delivery van.
Rental plans start from $80/mo*. That covers the machine, installation, scheduled service and repairs. Replacement filters are billed separately, about once a year. *Starting price; final pricing depends on the machine and site.
We work out of Van Nuys, in the San Fernando Valley, with our own service team. Los Angeles installs and service calls get scheduled from there.

Countertop units go in kitchenettes and nurse stations; towers go in lobbies, lounges and break rooms. Not sure which fits? Tell us your headcount and we will suggest one.

Our flagship freestanding cooler: three water temperatures plus 44 lbs of ice a day, for floors that want ice with their water.

Our best seller: a stainless freestanding cooler with three water temperatures behind a 15.6-inch touchscreen. No ice.

Hot and cold water from a slim tower just 11.8 inches wide, the lightest freestanding unit we rent.

Our dedicated ice machine: 380 lbs of cubed or nugget ice a day and no water taps. For floors that go through ice all day.

The only sparkling water cooler we rent, from a tabletop unit. It pours still water hot, cold or ambient too.

165 lbs of chewable nugget ice a day from a countertop unit that also pours hot and ambient water.

"We got the Glacier unit installed and absolutely love it! We were with Primo before and had a really hard time getting anyone out for any service issues. Just a poor customer service experience. The Aqualume team has been great and super helpful from start to finish."
