Why Offices Rent Water and Ice Dispensers From Aqualume
Picking a Dispenser for a Torrance Workplace
Our seven models pour different things. Some give hot and cold, some add ambient water, a few make ice, and one is sparkling. Count how many people will use it and decide how much floor space you can give it. Small group, little room: countertop. Large group or a lobby: freestanding. If you are unsure, give us a call and we will talk it through with you.
A counter-sized cooler that works like the full-size ones. It suits a small team or a cramped kitchenette.
Big teams get a floor model. Glacier, Cascade, Gulfstream and Avalanche all stand on the floor.
These pour water and make ice. Glacier produces up to 44 lbs a day. Blizzard makes nugget ice. Avalanche is ice only.
If you want bubbles, Jetstream is the model. It is the only sparkling one we rent, and it pours hot, cold and ambient too.

Water Dispensers for Torrance Offices and Commercial Spaces
Corporate Offices and Lobbies
In a lobby, the dispenser is part of what visitors see. Several of our models are narrow enough for that spot. One monthly rate covers the unit, its installation and its service, with replacement filters billed separately.
Spas and Salons
Clients are offered clean, good-tasting filtered water. Planning to use it in equipment? Check with us first, because that depends on the equipment.
Clinics and Care Offices
Staff lift nothing and store nothing. The water comes from the building's line, passes through seven stages and reaches the cup.
Break Rooms Without Cases of Water
No more ordering by the case or finding somewhere to stack empties. The dispenser draws on the pipe already in the wall.
Gyms and Studios
People refill bottles from open to close. A freestanding dispenser handles that traffic better than a counter unit, and it is connected to the building's water line so there are no jugs to empty.
Cafes and Restaurants
Chlorine and chemicals can change how coffee, tea and soda taste. Our pre-carbon stage removes them before the water gets to the machine.
Local Installation and Service in Torrance, California
We install the dispenser on your Torrance location’s existing water line at no charge. After that, scheduled service and repairs are covered by the rental plan, priced from $80 a month per dispenser*. Replacement filters are billed separately, usually once a year. We set the term for your site and confirm it in writing before you sign. *Starting price; final pricing depends on the machine and site.

Torrance Tap Water: What Offices Should Know
Where Torrance’s water comes from
The City of Torrance Municipal Water Utility serves about 107,000 residents. In 2024 it bought 70 percent of its water from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, which draws on the Colorado River and Northern California. The other 30 percent came from three wells in the West Coast Groundwater basin and a groundwater desalination project.
What the 2024 report shows
The report lists no violations. It also shows how different the two supplies are. Groundwater averaged 320 parts per million of total dissolved solids, and the imported water averaged about 627. The imported supply is disinfected with chlorine, which the report puts at an average of 1.74 ppm. Dissolved minerals and chlorine are what many people notice in a glass of tap water.
What an Aqualume dispenser adds
Ours connects to your existing line and sends the water through seven stages, among them sediment, carbon and membrane steps, before it reaches the cup. The membrane reduces dissolved solids and the pre-carbon stage targets chlorine. Nobody lifts a jug or signs for a delivery.

Torrance Water Cooler Rental FAQ
How much does a bottleless water cooler cost to rent in Torrance?
Rental starts at $80 a month per dispenser*. The price covers the dispenser, installation, scheduled service and repairs. Replacement filters are billed on top, about once a year. You get the 7-day trial first. The agreement length is set per site, and you see it in writing before you sign anything. Final pricing depends on the machine and the site.
Do you offer a free trial for water coolers in Torrance?
We do. Torrance businesses get a 7-day trial at no cost. Our technicians come to your site, bring the cooler and install it. If it does not suit you, they remove it afterward and there is no charge.
What types of bottleless water dispensers are available for offices in Torrance?
Seven. Glacier is a freestanding unit with hot, cold and ambient water plus ice. Cascade is freestanding with hot, cold and ambient water and a touchscreen, and it has no ice. Gulfstream is a slim tower with hot and cold. Avalanche is ice only. Lightstream is a slim countertop model with hot and cold. Blizzard gives hot and ambient water with nugget ice. Jetstream is the sparkling one, and the only one.
How does the 7-stage filtration process work?
The order is sediment, pre-carbon, RO/UF membrane, pH balance, sanitization, nutrient boost, and a taste and odor polish. Sediment and carbon come first for particles, chlorine and chemicals. The membrane then reduces metals and dissolved solids, and the nutrient boost adds calcium, potassium and magnesium.
Who handles maintenance and filter replacements in Torrance?
Our own technicians. They run the scheduled service visits and the sanitization, and they repair anything that breaks. None of that is billed extra. The only add-on is the replacement filter, about once a year, which we change for you. Phone support is open Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
